Increasingly, students are graduating with internship experience.  Simply graduating after previous summer jobs at the local pool or library simply isn't cutting it anymore.  Employers are looking to hire new employees with substantive professional experience.

However, students who lack a specific interest and simply want to browse potential internship sites may find the internet both daunting and tedious.  Many sites offer to guide potential interns in their search - for a fee.  Also, if a student has no idea of where they may want to intern, there is no real comprehensive guide to their options.

This website seeks to fill that gap, providing a fairly comprehensive guide to potential interns.  Not only does this guide list internships based on focus, it also provides helpful tips for getting the internship and making the most of the experience.  While this site is generally geared toward students at the University of Maryland, College Park, these resources are helpful for anyone seeking an internship in the public policy field.
